In this day and age, it's hard to gain a good ally. Tyler has not just been a great ally to Godspeed, but we have also built a pretty good friendship through time. Tyler has spread the good word of Godspeed products even before I knew who he was. He is a busy guy. From running his own website, calgaryskate.com, to help knit the seen even tighter by posting outlaw and professional races, he is also on the new board of directors of slac.com (speed and longboard accociation of Calgary). This guy will keep you posted. Bless his genuine heart.

Riding for Godspeed is a great honour and I truly believe there is someone more worthy of this.  Thank you to Mark-John for believing in what I do out there.  I remember back in 2005 when I first met Luca Posente, the original "Godspeeder".  He wasn't all up in your face about it, but he showed people with his skill on one of Mark's boards.  Later in 2006 I travelled out to the coast with the boys for Splash for Cash.  It was a great trip all around!  On the way home it was Tony, Reese, Luca and I in Reeses mom's Jeep Liberty.  We hit a patch of ice going about 85 km/hr and spun out.  It was like slow motion, we were all silent for something that seemed like forever.  I will never forget that with two of the current Godspeed boys.  Shortly after that trip I bought a set of Randal DH's off Luca.  Swapped the hangers to 180's and threw them on a "bomb hill's", turned out to be my first DH board.  These guys all supported what I was doing with calgaryskate.com, and there were a few slow winters following low number summers.  I kept going with their support and now the site is the hub of the community.  Godspeed has done a lot for me, I represent Godspeed with pride!

What has racing has done for you?

What it has done has brought great groups of people together, like this team.

What skateboarding has done for you?

The second I step on a board I forget about all the negative parts of my life.  It is a mindset I can compare to no other.

What does skating for Godspeed mean to you?

For a guy that doesnt skate too hard, and wasn't trying to be sponsored, its an honour.  Being included in a group of some of the coolest, most skilled guys I have met, makes me feel lucky.
